In a small town in eastern Kalimantan, precisely in the city there is a bridge Tenggarong Kukar or better known as the bridge Mahakam. This bridge has a privilege, in addition there is the widest in the middle of the river in East Kalimantan.

Bridge with a length of about 712 meters and a width of 9 feet is a liaison between the city and the city of Samarinda Tenggarong. At first glance, Tenggarong Bridge construction is similar to the "Golden Gate" in San Francisco, United States. Police say rescuers are searching for about 40 missing people after a bridge collapsed in central Indonesia, sending two buses, cars and motorcycles crashing into a river below. At least four people are confirmed dead.
The bridge was reportedly built in 2002 over the Mahakam River, the longest in East Kalimantan, and linked the towns of Tenggarong and Tenggarong Seberang in the province.
